If you've been here a while, you may remember when my friend Anastasia and I did our Winter Lookbook for 2015. High five if you remember it!
With spring less than a day away here in Australia, we thought it was the perfect time to shoot the spring lookbook. These are one of my favourite posts to shoot and I may or may not of had the outfits planned a couple of months ago... At least I'm organised, I guess?
Crop top - Cotton On Dungarees - Cotton On (again, ahaha) Hat - Unknown
Boots - London Rebel
Shoutout to those big grey storm clouds in background, it's meant to be spring. Still, it has been warmer recently and I'm so so excited. Winter is over!
My arms seem to be the only part of me that feels the cold, so I kept on this florally long sleeved crop to keep my arms warm, and pulled out this super cute pair of dungarees. I love them so much! I hate the thought of not being able to wear my beloved chunky boots in the Summer so I'm wearing them as much as possible before I have to put them away until next Autumn. And I had to include this hat, I love it, and it feels very spring-ishy.
Top - Kmart Skirt - Supre Sneakers - Factorie Cardigan - Unknown
A cute patterned top with a skater skirt is one of my favourite outfits for spring, and the cardi gives it a bit of warmth because it is still the tiniest bit cold.
I really really love this top of Anastasia's with the geometric triangle pattern, I think it is so pretty and it goes nicely with the light grey skirt!
Dress - Forever New Necklace - Purchased in NZ
A slightly more formal piece, this high low dress is one of my favourites and it so much fun to wear because it's all floaty and makes me feel like a princess! Give me a floaty dress and my inner five year old will come out.
My parents gave me this flip flop Paua shell necklace for Christmas a year or two back and I wear it a lot, especially in the warmer months. Paua is a shell that can only be found in New Zealand, so I like it a lot because it's from home. Thanks mum, thanks dad!
Dress - Forever New Blazer - Cotton On
I like to call this a semi-blazer because you can get full on blazers, and then there's this one which is nice and thin, and has three quarter sleeves which makes it a nice piece for transitioning between Summer and Winter.
I'd wear this outfit maybe on a day trip to the city, or if we went to someones house for dinner because it isn't full on formal but it has a slightly dressier feel to it than jeans.
So there you have it - our Spring lookbook for 2015. This was super fun to shoot and we've been looking forwards to it for months! Now I can't wait for Summer to start, there'll be a lookbook then too, how exciting...
