I'm in love with this skirt.
A girl in my year at school wore a midi skirt to our year ten formal, and I vowed that I too, would find myself a skirt that gorgeous. I even found the exact same skirt she was wearing (stalking people's outfits is one of my main talents), but it was two hundred dollars, and I didn't have a job back then so there was no way I was dropping two hundred on a skirt, as dreamy as it was. That was over a year ago, and although I looked everywhere, I just couldn't find a skirt I liked as much as I did the original. Enter: this baby. Exactly the right length, not figure hugging but not a balloon skirt, and a gorgeous little sheer panel at the bottom *screams*.
They always say that you shouldn't wear boots with midi skirts as it makes your legs look about as long as a sausage dog's legs. But I love the skirt, I love the boots, and we all know that I really, really don't need the extra height. In fact, some less height would be great. Mmkay thanks.
Hope you all had a good long weekend, or if you live somewhere else and had to go to work/school today, I hope you had a good Monday? Ah. Sorry.
I was at work pretty much all day Saturday, went up to the city with the fam yesterday, and I haven't even left the house today. Spent too long sitting in a glittery orange bath (Lush's yoga bath bomb is brilliant) watching Orange is the New Black, and spent a very long time on my business management project. We're talking like, 5-6 hours and it's not even half finished. If I don't get a good mark and gold star or something that'll be it for me. I might drop out of school. (Just kidding! Kinda.)
Well, gotta dash because I want to finish watching the current episode I'm on of Orange is the New Black soonish so I can get to sleep soon, because my throat is sore and I can barely swallow water. I just wanna sleep.
