Hey hey hey!
For todays Blogmas post I just wanted to do something a little bit more relaxed and chatty, like a little life catch up post type thing, because all the fashion posts and recipes and such take a lot of work when I'm doing them everyday, plus I like these chill posts where I can just chat about whatever.
So I suppose the biggest thing that's happening in my life right now is dancing, for which we have a performance on Friday and Sunday. You'd know a little bit about that if you have me on snapchat (if you don't, what are you doing with your life? it's @ inkdreaming), but I really love dance and I'm quite excited about the performance! I only started going to a proper dance school and taking proper classes a year and a half ago, which I suppose is kind of late to start dancing, but better late then never, right? Sometimes it's hard not to feel a bit inferior or self conscious when so many of the girls in my class have been dancing since they were three, but they're all lovely and I just have to remind myself that it's not only about skill, it's also about the amount of work you put in.
That goes the same for school, the whole 'amount of work' you put in thing. I wouldn't say that I'm above average intelligence, however I always study really hard so I usually get good scores. Except for maths, which I do struggle with a bit. That being said, these last three weeks I just can't find it in me to put in the amount of effort I usually do. When I get home from school I'm so tired I just want to sleep for fourteen hours straight. If I can just make it through this last week, then I'll be on holidays and I'll get all caught up on sleep! Then I'm hoping I'll be able to get back into the swing of things next year and focus on VCE.
We don't even have two years of school left and that's exciting and terrifying. As much as I complain about exams and early mornings, I really do enjoy school and I'll be sad to leave. At the moment, my plans for after school are to go to University (hopefully Deakin?) to study psychology so I can be a educational and developmental psychologist. I'd love to work with little kids, as I find it so easy to get along with them and play games with them and stuff. I really love being around younger kids, and I did work experience at a primary school back in June and that was a lot of fun.
Of course, being able to be a full time blogger/YouTuber would be my dream job, however I want to have a degree of some sort just in case I stop blogging or I can't make a living from it or the internet will stop existing in a few years time and people will start to use something else. I don't know. I really enjoy VCE psych, which is my accelerated subject (basically doing a year 12 subject in year 11), and I'd love to continue it after school.
The other exciting thing, is that one of my closest friends Jess and I will be going up to the Sunshine coast for ten days around the end of December/start of January! I honestly don't know if I've mentioned this before, I might of. Her family has been kind enough to ask me along with them, and I couldn't be more excited! I'll be sure to take lots of photos whilst I'm there, maybe I'll even vlog a bit? I'll see how it goes.
I hope you are all having a lovely day, I'm off to go get into bed with a bowl of ice cream and Netflix. I just came home from a two and a half hour dance rehearsal and it was intense. Have a fab night loves,
