Ever since I've started wearing glasses, I've noticed that you can get away with a few different things makeup wise when wearing frames. Some looks are more tricky to pull off with glasses, some are easier. I'm not trying to say that those of us with glasses should change our entire makeup routine, but it's a lot of fun messing around with different looks and seeing what you can do with your glasses!
A big thank you to Optically.com.au for helping to bring this post together! Optically has a huge range of frames, both eyeglasses and sunglasses. There is so many different colours and styles of glasses to choose from, but how cute is this pair of oval tortoiseshell frames?
Lipstick // NYX's Soft Matte Lip Cream in 'Madrid'
Glasses and a bright lip colour is always such a fun, classic look! I kept my eyeshadow nude, and used this white eyeliner in my waterline to keep my eyes looking wide and open behind my glasses. A nude liner will do the same thing! Make sure to use a pencil liner.
Eyeliner // NYX's Glam Liner Aqua Luxe in 'Glam Nude'
Bit more of a fun look - a super sparkly nude/white gold liner! I also flecked a bit through my lashes. This is a bit of an intense look, but having glasses tones the look down and it's easier to get away with. The perks! The thicker your frames are, the more they will take away from what you've done with your liner - meaning that it's perfect for experimenting with different colours and placement of liner.
If you're looking for a new pair of specs, I can not recommend Optically enough! Their glasses are incredibly affordable - because they're an online store, there's no extra costs to them and they can afford lower prices than most places.
Their service is so friendly, everyone I spoke to was lovely and ordering glasses with your your prescription is so simple! They were also delivered so quickly, which is always a fun surprise to find a package on your doorstep you weren't expecting for another few days :')
