As some of you might know, I recently bought a new camera (Canon PowerShot SX710 HS - I'm kinda in love with it), and when my family decided we'd go up to the city for the day, I couldn't resist bringing my camera along and trying it out. I'm really pleased with a few of the photos and I thought I'd just share a few and tell you all about the day!
(Just so you know: I edited these photos using the T1 filter on VSCO.)
We got up early to drive into Melbourne and have breakfast at Chez Dré's, which is one of our favourite places to eat. I had a pulled pork toasted sandwich (which really isn't breakfast food, but trust me, I never eat meals at the right times. #TeamCerealForDinner all the way.) My sister and I also had chai lattes, which were fab as well.
Also, this place is so photogenic and the whole place is just decorated really nicely. Would definitely recommend this place if you care about your Instagram feed as much as you do food.
After breakfast we had a quick wander through the Queen Vic market before heading to Luna Park, which is always going to be a laugh, isn't it? I love amusement parks, and even though saying that kind of makes me feel like a seven year old, it's true.
Well, that's all from me, I gotta go get ready for school. And study. I just remembered yesterday afternoon that I have a psychology SAC (test type thing) tomorrow, and all of the cramming has been happening. So that's fun.
Lots of love,
