Do you ever feel like everything in your life is changing, even though nothing major is?
I've swapped a few of my classes around, and I'm now taking VCE Studio Arts! I'm so, so excited, I love art a lot. This weekend my friend Julie and I went into Melbourne to have a look at the stArt up: Top Arts exhibition at the National Gallery of Victoria. Top Arts is an annual exhibition where the gallery displays some of the best work from students around Victoria. All the students who had their work featured are so talented! I loved walking around the exhibition, and I'm actually going back to the city to have another look at the exhibition next week. It's that good.
I've been experimenting with watercolour paints quite a bit; I love the way they look. The theme I've chosen for Studio is Imagination, and I feel watercolours fit it very well; they're so dream-like.
Another change, is my hair. I haven't got it cut or dyed it, but over the last week or two I've become more comfortable with my natural hair, and I don't feel like I have to straighten it for my hair to look nice. I'm pretty certain these are the first photos on ink dreaming where my hair is totally natural.
Only three more days of school for me! So jealous of everyone who's already done with school. I'm too excited for the holidays; the trip to Queensland + lot's of blogposts planned!
What are your plans for the holidays? Comment below!
Lots of love,
