This video was embarrassingly filmed at least three months ago, but at least I've edited it now, right?
Most of these were bargains from the boxing day sales (for those of you not in Aus- everything here goes on sale the weeks after Christmas- it's like black Friday), and a few were Christmas presents from my lovely family; proving my point on how long it takes me to edit videos. Usually I'm not this bad- pinky promise.
Lots of love, E x

Hands down this was one of the best nights of my life.
I have loved Coldplay for so long, and their music is connected to so many good memories for me, so seeing them live was an absolute dream. This was kind of my first concert (I went and saw Elton John back in 2013 but my friends always tell me that doesn't count, so. You decide if it's my first or nah.)
It's been a really long and difficult semester, so spending the first night of the holidays with one of my best friends, Jess, and dancing to live music by a band I love was amazing.
Also if you don't have me on snapchat or Instagram, you won't have seen my new hair! I got it lightened a little for the summer, as well as a bit of the length taken off. (Also, what are you doing with your life if it's not following me on Instagram (@inkdreaming) and snapchat (inkdreaming)??? Jk, jk. But should definitely follow me. Tell all ur friends if u like!!!
And of course, being the fashion obsessive I am, one of the most exciting parts was seeing what everyone wore to a concert. I wore a burnt orange corduroy skirt, with a loose boho off the shoulder top that was actually just a playsuit I wore under the skirt. I was wearing a denim jacket that I nicked from my sisters wardrobe, however it ended up being tied around my waist the whole time because I obviously underestimated how hot a mosh pit could get. Clearly a first timer. (Again- everyone at the Elton John concert sat still with lovely posture. How was I to know concerts were hot?)
Below is a quick vlog I filmed of the night, I honestly had so much fun making it (even though all the files deleted themselves and I had to edit it twice, what a pain).
Some of you might of noticed that the last few months here on ink dreaming has been a little empty with pretty huge gaps between posts. I'm sorry, and I hated it because I love blogging and making videos and when I'm not doing it, I definitely notice that it feels like something's not quite right. Too cheesy? School got really busy in the last few months of year 11, and that's not an excuse but rather an explanation. The same will likely happen next year which will be my final year of school, so I'll really need to concentrate on study, but I'll certainly try my best to balance everything, and check in every now and then with you guys! Right now we're on Summer holidays so the next few months should be pretty consistent with posts and videos.
Any of us going anywhere exciting over the holidays? I'm staying at home which I'm kind of excited for because I'll be catching up on sleep and Netflix but lemme know if you're going anywhere exotic and I'll just live vicariously through you!
Umm, hi. My name's Ella, and I screw up a lot.
Take my Instagram bio for example-
Hi, I blog about fashion and can never find my keys.
-I've lost (or thrown out- it's a long story) my fair share of keys in my lifetime. Did you know car keys could be up to $800 to replace? Ya, me neither until I lost my mums car keys (I'm sorry mum!!!). Absolute nightmare. Or, first day of high school, I somehow threw my locker keys into the rubbish bin. Of course I freaked out, and proceeded to dig through garbage looking for the keys. I did find them, though.
Exhibit B: We've all smashed our phones. But have you smashed yours three times in a week?
And, to top things off, there was the time my neighbour called out 'Hey, love!' to his wife standing in the driveway whilst I was walking the dog past their house, and I called back 'Hey, yeah?' without thinking about it. An awkward four seconds of staring ensued before I muttered c'mon to my dog and hurriedly walked away.
So I do stupid stuff, and when I smashed my phone yet again I wanted to cry, but It's also important to look back and laugh at yourself. Or sit at 3am and manically giggle about the time you forgot your school shoes to school and had to do a presentation in front of your whole year level in your little leather jazz shoes. Yaknow, whatever floats your boat. Just try not to worry too much if something doesn't go to plan, I guess that's what I'm trying to say.
Lotsa love, Ella x
