With only four days to go before Christmas, it's that kind of time where you think 'ohmigosh I haven't got Aunt Mavis/cousin Dave/other person a present yet!' Am I the only one who is this disorganised and haven't finished my Christmas shopping yet?
These are a few super cute and thoughtful ideas that you could quickly put together for someone. I always love handmade gifts, it makes the person receiving them feel so special and loved!
This makes a very cute gift, and you could also do a whole selection of flavours! These are very easy to customise, just swap out the coconut oil for any lightly favoured oil, or swap the maple extract for another extract. You could also try brown sugar, or coffee grounds as an exfoliator or a mixture of both.
gingerbread men in a jar:
I think the idea of giving someone the ingredients for something in a jar is such a great idea! All they have to do is add an egg and some butter. Gingerbread men are one of my favourites, and they're so lovely and festive, so this is a perfect Christmas present. You could also include a gingerbread man cookie cutter and then they've got a little gingerbread men kit!
And this is totally unrelated to the rest of the blogpost but guys I drove today! I turned 16 way back in July so I should of started learning ages ago but heyy, I'm doing it now? It went pretty well I think!
I hope you're having a lovely holidays!
One of the best parts about making food yourself is that you know exactly what's going into it, and you can eat it knowing there's no nasty preservatives or anything like that in it.
Bar #1 - dark chocolate + peanut butter
Okay, so chocolate isn't the healthiest, but dark chocolate is certainly a lot better for you than milk chocolate is! This is really good for treating yourself as it's delicious but isn't ridiculously bad for you.
Bar #2 - figs, cocoa + coconut
This is super yummy and tastes like coconuts!
Bar #3 - apple, cinnamon + raisins
This one sadly didn't set properly for some reason, but it's probably still my favourite one! Because this is super crumbly I ate it with some yoghurt and it made a really nice breakfast.
I hope you enjoyed this! There'll be a Christmas themed blogpost up tomorrow, I'm so excited for you all to see it! So much love,
Hello, and welcome to the third day of Blogmas! I'm so loving this, it makes me feel so productive and motivated.
Today I have this delicious recipe for a berry + banana smoothie bowl for you all.
When I started making this, I had zero idea that it would taste as good as it does. Seriously, it's the best. And it's super healthy! And, lets be honest, these are all over Instagram right now and I really wanted to post a smoothie bowl picture #feedgoalsrighthere
Hope you enjoyed this! I know I loved eating this, aha. Feel free to tag me (@inkdreaming) in any photos. So much love,
