For the very last day of Blogmas I've done another DIY (in the form of a video this time!). I love making decorations for the Christmas tree, because my family has literal hundreds of Christmas tree decorations from all over the world, and Christmas tree decorations are just something that is super special to my family.
Thank you all so much for reading these posts! I feel a bit sad that Blogmas is over, but it'll be nice to have some spare time, ahaha. I won't lie, it was a lot harder than I thought it would be, so well done to everyone who also did it!
You guys honestly mean the world to me! I'm so happy that I've found blogging and all of you lovely people who also blog or read blogs.
This will probably be my last post of the year, as after Christmas I'll be going up to Queensland with Jess! I talk about it a bit in the video, but we'll be up there for ten days and I'm so excited! I'll try do a bit of vlogging whilst I'm there.
I wish you all a happy holidays and a wonderful New Year! So much love to you all,
With only four days to go before Christmas, it's that kind of time where you think 'ohmigosh I haven't got Aunt Mavis/cousin Dave/other person a present yet!' Am I the only one who is this disorganised and haven't finished my Christmas shopping yet?
These are a few super cute and thoughtful ideas that you could quickly put together for someone. I always love handmade gifts, it makes the person receiving them feel so special and loved!
This makes a very cute gift, and you could also do a whole selection of flavours! These are very easy to customise, just swap out the coconut oil for any lightly favoured oil, or swap the maple extract for another extract. You could also try brown sugar, or coffee grounds as an exfoliator or a mixture of both.
gingerbread men in a jar:
I think the idea of giving someone the ingredients for something in a jar is such a great idea! All they have to do is add an egg and some butter. Gingerbread men are one of my favourites, and they're so lovely and festive, so this is a perfect Christmas present. You could also include a gingerbread man cookie cutter and then they've got a little gingerbread men kit!
And this is totally unrelated to the rest of the blogpost but guys I drove today! I turned 16 way back in July so I should of started learning ages ago but heyy, I'm doing it now? It went pretty well I think!
I hope you're having a lovely holidays!
Ahh! My first DIY post!
This scrub is so easy and fun to make and it smells delicious! Plus, it will leave your skin super smooth and soft, which is definitely a reason to celebrate. It also makes a great gift for friends and family; smooth skin all around!
If you make the scrub, make sure to post a photo to Instagram or Twitter and use #daisyanddot so I can see the photos!
Just in case you haven't heard it today, you're beautiful <3
